WHAT IS WEWOLE LOAN?
Wewole is a loan service provided by Airtel Uganda in conjunction with JUMO LOAN SERVICES.
Wewole allows Airtel Money users to borrow the amount between 8,000ugx to 500,000ugx Shillings and Airtel Money Agents can borrow between 100,000 to 1,000,000 Shillings.
When it comes loan repayments, the borrower has 3 loan repayment periods of 14 or 30 days depending on one’s choosing with a minimum interest of 6.75% while the maximum is capped at 15% which is something affordable,the interest is friendly in other words.
HOW TO QUALIFY FOR WEWOLE LOAN FROM AIRTEL UGANDA.
You need to have been an active user of Airtel for at least 6 months and your Airtel money should have been making good transactions.
If you meet all the above it's time now to try your luck by applying for a loan.
Now I know the question in your mind will be like how am I going to apply for the loan ,worry no more because am here to take you through all the steps.
HOW TO APPLY FOR WEWOLE LOAN ?
Its just simple as never expected,just get your mobile phone and do the following;
1. Dial *185# or Dial *185*8# as a short cut to skip step two
2. Select Option 8 (Wewole)
3. Now, choose option 1 (Get a loan) to apply for an instant loan
4. You will be presented with your current loan limit
5. Enter the amount of money you wish to borrow
6. Then, enter your 4-digit Airtel account PIN
At this stage, all things are done
7. Once Airtel approves your loan amount,the money will be deposited on your Airtel money Account instantly
Now it's time to use your aquired loan for given period of time and once you come close to the time of paying back the loan ,don't dare to delay as to increase your loan limit.
HOW TO REPAY YOUR WEWOLE LOAN FROM AIRTEL.
To pay back your Airtel Money loan/Wewole loan, all you need to do is to;
1. Dial *185#
2. Select Option 8 "Wewole"
3. Select Option 2 "Pay loan"
4. Then choose between paying the full pending amount, or enter an amount to deduct from your Airtel money account.
5. Finally, enter your 4-digit Airtel Money PIN to approve your loan re-payment and kaboom your loan is paid back.

If you default, or fail to pay your loan in the given period of time a repayment fee of 10% will be charged on the outstanding balance available in or on your Airtel money account.
